Cape Buffalo Scrotum…

Oh dear.. yes, a purse made from the scrotum of a cape buffalo. Adorned with black springbok, lined with tobacco lamb and a warthog tusk for a handle.  Unique eccentricities… love it …

Silk Purse From A Sow’s Ear or….

It’s not done yet but can you guess what this is?   It is a purse smarty-pants.  Can you identify the raw materials?
You probably guessed the handle is made from the tusk of a warthog.
You hunters may have guessed the flap is a center-cut hide of a black springbok.
Fancy a guess as to what the “bag” is [...]

More of the same greatness…

calf the tops are made of. Then the counter and vamp are side-welted with the black

Happy New Year!    Terri

It’s All About Tools – Custom Lip Knife for this Bootmaker

I have small hands.  I found the typical knives and tools to be made for large meaty paws making them clumsy for me.  Now..not a problem.  A local knife maker fixed me right up with this beautiful antler handled lip knife. He cut the length of the blade, gave it a beautiful wood tang and [...]

Report on 2009 Monterey Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival

Fun was had, a little business was conducted and the talent at this show was spectacular! Put it on your calendar next year. It is worthy.  I got to meet Lacy J Dalton!  She signed my red cherry alligator boots! Her album ”Lacy J Dalton” was one of the first two vinyl records I ever purchased as [...]
